A dedicated Northwest Province project department serves the Barrick Lumwana copper mine with three on-site teams and living support.
MES runs a dedicated Northwest Province Mines Project Department, led by a project manager with 27 years in the Komatsu system, serving the Barrick Lumwana copper mine and other customers in Zambia's North-Western Province.
The department operates three on-site teams plus a living-support team and sales administrative support. An independent EHS department supervises site safety, with daily JSA / Take 5 and weekly PTO / VFL checks.
