Resident Fleet at Luanshya Copper Mine Passes 90,000 SMR Hours
Under the A3 service & parts contract with CNMC Luanshya, unit #2 PC2000-8 reached 90,161 operating hours as of May 2026, with several machines above 80,000 SMR hours at high availability.
Under the A3 service and parts contract with CNMC Luanshya Copper Mine, the resident MES team handles daily checks, routine maintenance, breakdown repairs and overhaul planning for 8 Komatsu machines, with a VMI consignment warehouse on site — zero parts inventory for the customer.
As of 15 May 2026, unit #2 PC2000-8 had reached 90,161 operating hours, with units #3 and #4 at 87,317 and 81,344 hours — several machines above 80,000 SMR hours while maintaining high availability.
The contract covers PC2000-8×4, PC1250-8×2 and PC850-8×2. Engine, PTO and pump overhauls are completed on site by the resident team, and machine rebuilds are carried out at the mine.
